Re: Where do you guy your gear? Recommend me the cheapest local and online retailers.
I went to Re-Gear in Oshawa this weekend a motorcycle gear consignment store. Saw their ad on Kijji. Picked up leather pants and two jackets for 400 bucks. Couldn't be happier.
My mistake the bike is a '05 so 8 years old. The owner didn't have a problem with me riding the bike - but without any insurance I didn't want to risk it on the road.
Seconds after I created this thread I decided to call Rosey Toes and ask their advice. Going to get them to do an inspection.
I have just made an offer on a bike. The bike is five years old has 45k km on it and isn't currently insured so I am unable to test ride it. It appeared to be in good condition with new tires. But I am growing more concerned about the fact I haven't been able to ride it or that I haven't had it...
If you have had it for a couple of years then you don't have the newest #11 HD model. And the quality is excellent and I assure you it is true 720p. You can pick up the old standard def model for less than $10 but don't bother.
The eBay link I gave you is for a reputable dealer.
Make sure...
Ever heard of an 808 camera ( key chain cam)? HD only $36 shipped from eBay. Excellent quality.

Stick em on your helmet with Velcro...
I am looking for my first bike. Not looking for anything fancy and many of the bikes I see in my price range are 80's and 90's models.
I read that some insurance companies will not insure bikes over 20 years old. Should I avoid looking at older bikes?
I am a new rider. Just passed the Humber College safety course.
So I am browsing for motorcycle gear at Toronto retailer today and I am really struck by how flimsy much of the so called “armour” felt to me.
The elbow and shoulder pads sown into many jackets seemed awfully thin...
