Hey everyone, My Yamaha XJ600 has a slight knocking at 4000 - 5000 RPMs and goes away outside that range. I can barely hear it but I feel it. It is not strong and doesn't seem to be impacting performance. What could it be? Cheers.

WE had a similar incident at Centennial last weekend. But it was on the stopping on a curve part of the test. Luckily the guy didn't bail but it was close. He panicked and nailed both brakes and skidded out and put a leg down. I thought it could have snapped but he was ok. It was also sobering...

Hey everyone, I am looking at a 1993 Yamaha Seca 2 XJ600S for $1800 as my first bike. It has 38,000 km and never been dropped. I will get a mechanic to check it before I purchase it but if it is in good condition is this a good deal? Any advice would be great. AGConor
