What did you do in your garage today..?

Yep, it is not the faint of heart. I never spent a winter up north but spent 2 fire seasons based out of Ignace and I have never been humbled by something so small as a black fly before - wow was that an eye opener. Last year we did a 1 week fly in fishing trip out of White River in early June...

    Canada Post - Huge losses

I doubt anything will change with carney gunning for a majority - that is 30,000 voters for the Liberals right there. I would sure like to know how the executives are making out come bonus time. If this was a company they would be kicked out the door quickly it would make ones head spin, but...

    Travel visa Aussie/New Zealand

I agree we spend 3.5 weeks there in July and went from the north tip (90 mile beach) down to Dunedin/Te Anau and most things in between and I could definitely live there and the Kiwi's are amazing people.

    COVID and the housing market

In Burlington my office had a farm across the street (Appleby and U Middle) that was purchased by a developer. Every year they planted soy beans in that small field (maybe 15-20 acres). I asked my farmer buddy and he said it was for tax purposes - ag land is cheap, but other is treated like...

What did you do in your garage today..?

I would much rather have it cold and snow than that gray -5 and hard ground - at least you can sled, ice fish, show shoe. What small planes are you in? 172's or Beavers/Otters? Are they on ski's or wheels?

    COVID and the housing market

Can you just not rent the fields out to someone wanting to plant beans or corn in them - another way to get your tax credit.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Well looks like it's going back down to minus stupid on Saturday/Sunday/Monday so I decided to leave the heated grips for another week and installed my Cardo on my helmet in the warmth and comfort of my man cave while watching Big 10 Hockey - Penn State vs Michigan State and enjoying an old...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Looks like the LT forecast shows a bit of a temp warm up. I will start moving things around the garage to give me some room as I need to install my Triumph heated grips and Givi handguards. Not a terribly difficult project but I just need to make some room in my 1 car garage to do the work...

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

I saw The Rip on the plane last week it was OK but I am not sure if the actual movie was OK or that I was captive for 4 hours and that was the only movie I downloaded for the flight :ROFLMAO:

    COVID and the housing market

Back in 1995 my buddy and I were paying $700/month rent for a 2 bedroom apt on the second floor of a beautiful brownstone in SW Hamilton near Locke and Herkimer. Fast forward 2025 I was paying $700 for a room in a student house in Sandy Hill (Ottawa) - no parking, lots of crack zombies but it...
