Now that I finally have a clear weather weekend I am heading down to visit my MIL (mother in law) in LaSalle for an overnighter - my wife and daughter are driving down on Friday and I am meeting them for dinner on Sat night. I have been through most roads in the Brantford to Niagara region extensively so for the purpose of time I will head out on the 403 until Hwy 24 just past Brantford and head south towards Lake Erie. Stopping at an amazing gun/bow shop called Triggers and Bows - my 'go to' bow shop in the region. I am going to make this a brewery tour - no sampling........just taking stock.

After Triggers and Bows I will continue south to Delhi and jump on Hwy #3 through Courtland and Aylmer and a food stop at the Smokin Caboose in St. Thomas. Then with a full belly I will continue to my second stop in St. Thomas - Caps Off Brewing to pick up a couple of cans of sunshine. Head south on Hwy 4 until Port Stanley to stop for a walk on the beach and digest ;). I will make my way east on Hwy 20/16 until I meet back up to Hwy 3 in Wallacetown. Down Hwy 3 a bit will be a stop at Natterjack Brewery. I continue east on Hwy 3 to Blenheim for a stop at Red Barn Brewery then double back to Hwy 3 and make my way along the coast of Erie until Wheatley.

In Leamington I will stop at Top Dog Brewery and make my way south to Hwy 20 until Kingsville for a stop at The Grove Brewing Company. Continue east on 20 until Harrow and a final stop at The Bearded Dog Brewing Co. and depending on time might stop to see an old friend and once customer in Harrow. I will continue east on 20 to Amherstburg and continue along Front Road until I reach my destination in LaSalle. Then shower, have a cold beer and get ready for a French Canadian home cooked meal.

Coming home I will probably take the 401 straight to London then head north and jump on Hwy 2 through Paris then Hwy 5/99 out of Paris to Dundas then backroads (Weirs/Crooks Hollow/Harvest/Rock Chapel/Valley/Patterson/Old Guelph Line/Plains Road) to Burlington as I am sure the citiots will be out in full force and the 403 will be a gong show from Ancaster all the way to the QEW.

Enjoy your ride
