Several American cities have crushed dirt bikes in cases like this, or as DF mentions, auctioned them off if not claimed. Could be a risk for someone who`s also involved in other criminal activity trying to get it back. Ever see the movie Charm City Kings?....an interesting look at the illegal dirt bike riding culture in Baltimore. Maybe the cops are trying to get a handle on this early, it`s often a big problem in the States, along with street takeovers in places such as L.A.
