Holy fack, my car insurance went down for a change! First time in like never. Last year I switched to CAA, and the renewal, now it's not by much, it's only $50. But after so many years or being jacked around in daHood, it feels like a win!

Agreed. Mine has stayed the same for both auto/bike or dropped a few bucks year after year and I consider that a huge win.

Echoing Harwrkr13 check what, if any coverages changed. My renewal ( RBC) made a few optional, they were listed out in the paperwork and I had to re-add some them adding back some of the price drop.

They automatically reduced coverage on an existing policy?

Some coverages are now optional so you'll have to make sure you still have the same coverages as you did on your previous policy.
In the renewal letter they send (2 copies for some reason) they mentioned this, and they kept the same coverage's I had before. I haven't checked though.

Yep, only some of the now optional items were auto removed others stayed in effect. Only new polices would have none of them so you'd have to be careful in comparing when shopping around.
