I use my home depot card only for the free interest. A couple of years back, I did a 2 year no interest deal, then sent 24 equal payments to pay it off in time.

I didn’t realize my wife used the card for $80 worth of Christmas lights, when I checked to see the payments were complete I noticed $80 owing. If I missed that $80 payment, they’d have tagged me with $1200 interest.

I don’t like interest. My dad told me paying off your balance in full is equal to getting a 20% return on an investment.

For the final exam, the students have to repair an engine.
After the test is over, she gets her mark back - 150%!
A bit surprised, she asks the teacher, "How did I get over 100% on the exam?"

Professor replies, "Well, you took apart the engine properly which was 50% of the mark. Then you fixed it and put it back together perfectly, which was another 50% of your score. However, I gave you an extra 50% because you did all of that through the tailpipe!"
