So i was out for about an hr and a bit this morning, called it a day shortly after as i almost got hit 3 times in that short period.

Stupid F'ers passing in blind corners and passing on blind hills. WTF is wrong with these people? they seem to not give a F about anyone else on the road.
They've announced a local safety meeting to deal with road issues in our area.

I like where I live but brain washing has taken its toll. The area has its cutesy name and while a tiny bit upscale it isn't Rosedale, Forest Hill or Bayview and the Bridal Path.

Too many residents have copped the self entitled attitude that their crap doesn't stink. It's everyone else.

They speed, fail to stop legally, make illegal turns and generally drive like undisciplined slobs. Then they buy their sub teen kids e-scooters and let them ride the sidewalks. Now they want a meeting to discuss road safety for their kids.

They are concerned that people don't care about their children.

Who else doesn't care about their children? The other eight billion people on the planet.

I grew up in the west end, before all that, (south of the village of Islington) which is why I was curious about it. (y)

Toronto has given every neighbourhood a cutesy name. Instead of living on Wright Ave they spent a bunch of money adding a Roncesvalles Village sign to the poles.

There's also Greek Town, Little Portugal, Little Italy, The Beach, Chinatown and more. Ours is Markland Wood.
Dont forget sankofa square

I can tell you the people in Forest Hill are exactly like this. I was almost taken out in a side street when the person didn't stop at a 4 stop. Just blasted right though. They also hog the middle lanes and speed and double park all the time. Just a bunch of privileged aHoles.
And yeah they are trying to keep the peace by hiring private security to patrol the neighbourhoods.
