Chains?? and sprockets

KLX250 needs a new chain. Looking at a 520 chain. There's quite a pile to choose from. What's good for off road?

And sprockets? Beyond the right number of teeth what's important?

I like JT chains because they often have the highest tensile strength to reduce stretching.
Specs available at:
Check the prices at Fortnine as pries are based on demand for certain lengths.
If a longer chain is available at a cheaper price it can be shortened.
Just grind the heads off connector pins.

I have no comment on the quality of the chains. Tensile strength and stretching are almost unrelated in a motorcycle chain. Stretch in motorcycle chains is worn bushings allowing pins to move move further apart and chains to "stretch". The plates themselves are not getting longer. Higher tensile strength should be less likely to break.

I’ve always found the chain type and maintenance (clean & lube) are bigger factors than the brand names.

I get 3-4 tire changes to a x-chain and sprocket. About 1/2 that for a regular chain.
