Shop recommendations ( RC51 )

Best bet would be a Honda dealership. Get a quote obviously before giving them the go ahead, it’s only 2 cylinders so it’s pretty straightforward. I had a VFR 800 of about the same vintage that I checked the valves on at 50,000km. All were well within spec.
 
I did mine myself, and if I can do it, you don't need to be a GP mechanic or have special tools to sort it out. Any reputable shop should be able to handle it. Hardest part was getting the valve cover on the front cylinder back on without twisting the rubber gasket or getting silicone sealant in the valve train.

Oh, and looking at the alignment marks on the rear gear driven cams from the wrong angle and getting them a tooth off. I was lucky it only led to some back pressure and a refusal to start rather than permanent damage...
