Why not segue to this from House of Cards
Pretty good so far and I like SutherlandšŸæ

Generally enjoying it but the pace of crisis unfolding seem too forced plus some unneeded. A bit too compressed but will continue to watch.

Designated Survivor .....nice to see Michael J Fox still acting in S 2 Episode 18 √

it was good - DS

Not sure if you categorize as TV? It’s limited series I believe.

- The Beast In Me: quite enjoyable

- Monster: the Ed Gein Story: excellent but, creepy.

Watched a few things of the past little while

S3 was good, got a bit touchy feely for a cop drama, and felt like the station was a hook up join.

Better then expected, great casting

This was fun, I take it there will be another season with the way it ended.

Decided to revisit this one, as per @MacDoc

Started watching Homeland again but did not realize there are 8 seasons of 12 episodes.... maybe a bit much.

Both were really good!

Yeah I like Damian Lewis ...particularly in Band of Brothers
......
making me laugh

I am a huge Steve Coogan fan with his character Alan Partridge. Think he is incredibly witty generally but love the arch he has had with this character over the many many years. He has continued with "How are you? It's Alan". Even the ads before these how came out are brilliant. If you love the British humour and Coogan in general you will love this show. It caries on from his previous series called "This Time".

Currently watching Mr. Mercedes. Almost done season 1 and it seems to be worth continuing.

Also just started watching The Big C. I hate every character Laura Linney plays. The show is just ok.

Both are older but just popped up on Netflix so I thought to give em a go.

Recently watched The Pitt. Fantastic!

I'm half way through last episode of Mr Mercedes S1....certainly strays into the dark but intriguing. Will continue.....finished.
Like the way they used Leonard Cohen song at end of Season One.
well crafted - the used of music all the way through is excellent
Season 2 not so engaged ......

I generally like Laura Linney - I thought she was terrific in John Adams

anyone who has not seen John Adams really should make an effort.

retro weekend
We used to grab a thali on Little India street ( Gerrard ) and take them back and watch these. Owner let us take the metal trays back after the weekly release....different times ...depressing that's 40 years back

Good thali tho.
The episodes are in 4:3 but clean visuals and terrific audio.
Enough retro...the 80s sucked...tho the music was good

IIRC it was Dukes of Hazzard Friday and Miami Vice on Saturday or maybe MV came on right after Dukes, I can't recall but I watched both every weekend religiously.

It's being discussed on a forum that I'm a member of, that is base din the UK. Pretty good comments from the English contingent. I haven't seen it.
Channelling Errol Flynn big time....and perhaps the shooting skills of Star Wars Stormtroopers on the part of the sheriff's men :sneaky:
The cast is okay...not quite a Monty Python feel but......šŸæ

If it's Pythonesque that you want, then what you're looking for is "Maid Marian and her Merry Men."
