Welcome aboard.
It is nice to see you didn't fall for the "you must have a litre+ bike to leave home" crowd.
Saddle bags are nice as moden bikes don't have a lot of room under the seat for clean underwear.
For multi day trips the Rideau Lakes area is fun.
The shores of Lake Onterio, St. Lawrence River and Ottawa River ride is also nice.

I used to have a '22 Grey TS660, and it was such a great bike. If you're thinking about adding crash bars sometime, I've got a set of used Givi ones that I can let go for a decent price.
