No interest in ever going to the Enercare one it need to be combined with the Jan. one again. Way to big a pita to go downtown to see
its right off of lakeshore, it's not that much of a hassle.

You can also tuck into the parking lot by the grass parade ground at Fort York for free , you just have to want the 10 min hike .

Enercare one is the only one worth seeing.
Personally, I find the MMIC show bland. If you're not looking for a new bike, there's really not much there. I go and will continue to go but I'm usually only there for a couple hours.

The Supershow definitely has its carnival elements, but that adds to the appeal for me. It gives it its bustle & hustle. Dried meat sellers don't offend me like they do some on here. I spend 3 or 4 hours there and ALWAYS have an opportunity to chat with people I know, and I don't "know" many people (by choice).

I enjoy looking at the bikes, I even check out the grotesque customs in their own hall in hopes of finding some that aren't cartoonish caricatures of motorcycles, I check out and linger the club displays thinking , "should I become a vintage racer?", or "These Christian guys seem so happy together, if I joined would it bring them down a bit?", I gather all the free information from the travel sellers and touring regions to plan rides that I might take, and root around the gear sellers just in case there's something I can't live without.

I also buy my single yearly bag of candied almonds and feel somewhat gross on the way home.

On another thread you were commenting about community/comradery. The January show is "motorcycling community" written large and includes everybody, even the potentially unsavory. I just choose to ignore or get-over the crap that doesn't interest or matter to me.
