(solved) removing rounded torx head screw

The heads of the torx screws that fasten aluminum guards to the motor have become totally rounded.
Tried heat + bit-extractors and this did not work.
Anybody knows of a machine shop in around Mississauga that has the expertise and tools to unscrew the two screws?
(the screws go into the cylinder body)

good idea, tried that and the screw refuses to budge.

Tools that I tried

See if you can get a drift in and give it a good wack on the head of the bolt with a hammer

Then try the bigger bit trick again

Is it steel or stainless? Looks like a impact driver with a bigger torx could spin it out or weld a nut to it. Or just drill the head off and use visegrips.

Drill off the head and use an external stud extractor like this.

The screw is SS, the plate it is holding to the cylinder is Aluminum.
The weld-a-nut plan will definitely work.
Is there a workshop that can do this?

That would be my plan as well (or vise-grips as a poverty option but it's worth buying the tool imo).

I think MM may have bought from amazon. There is a discussion on stud extractors in a thread a year or so ago.

That darned red loctite will prolly not answer to a screw driver.
Initially I had used the correct size Torx wrench (the same that I had got the other screws off with), but this one screw refused to budge with the right sized Torx wrench and more force applied caused it to round the head.

Next time hit the torx bit with a hammer before you start to shock it. Alternatively, something like the picture, but I'm not sure if they have the right size torx in 3/8 bits.
