Petition to open outdoor activities

I struggle with some of these based on the fact they don't see the bigger picture.

I'm dying to go camping right now, trust me. But the problem is people travelling from one area to the other to do many of these sorts of activities right now...camping included. And racing. And tons of other "outdoors" things.

The smart people aren't the ones we have to worry about. Smart campers right now would be buying and bringing every single thing they need in their home area and then going straight to the campsite, minding themselves, and going straight home afterwards.

Unfortunately the stupid people (who are the weak link in the chain here) will head out of their home area and stop 5 times (3 which were completely unnecessary) during the trip for food and booze and unnecessary junk then do the same thing on the way home.

So in the end....I get the reason for the total lockdown. Every "exception" becomes a "Well, if they can do THAT, why can we do THIS?" scenario. Look at the Golf Courses as an example for what happened when they were excluded from the lockdown previous to this current one.

The golfers that were busted recently did one thing wrong. They carpooled.

And you know some of them would be all "Hey, not much to do right now, lets head out to Kingston/wherever and check out that new course we'd been hearing about".

Again, weakest link....the smart and savvy versus the stupid or "I just don't care, this is all fake" crowd have us where we are today.

Dirt biking is wide open, sucks to be a golfer

Well, no, technically it's not, unless you're willing to disregard the current rules.

Done smartly, meh. Little to zero risk on the Covid front at least.

Done stupidly, well, see my replies above.

Yeah his know it allness knows no limits. ganaraska is open. Motocross tradks are open ...@privatepilot Claims he blocked me but I hope he see this and stops saying nonsense
I'll just quote you so he's sees it. :)

That's not how it works.

It will hide his quote saying 'from a user you've ignored'

It’s funny how people never grow from being sissy 5 year olds taking their ball and going home to tell mommy someone was mean to them. Then they grow up and start blocking people online ...people don’t change that much over their life unfortunately ...uptight and boring at 15 ...same at 60
Some people just push the buttons.

It's open, and it's legal.

Under what allowance out of curiosity?

That website says he got an email from "our licensing officer". Not sure who that is.

It's great and all that they're being smart about it (so far as the website even telling people to shop in their local area and not go in/out, smart) but I'm thinking they've taken liberties on their decision as per the letter of the law as it stands right now.

We've seen that there's basically no enforcement happening right now when it comes to individuals deciding to do their own thing on their own accord (IE, riding for leisure) but organized events, well, they attract heat...IE the golf course that opened up and fined, as did the people coming to play.
