I figured out a way to rip streams like the one on motogp.com by downloading the thousands of .ts-files and stitching them back together.
Maybe it works for the BT Sports streams as well. My way has a few manual steps though.
And my upstream kinda sucks.
But perhaps i can help create a somewhat simple 'process' we can then teach someone with better bandwidth...

Cool, I'll PM you and see if you can rip the videoq qith oyur solution, if it works I'll start taking car of it this weekend during Qatar. I'm not sure if I shoul dbother with Practice session sand sjust focus on Qualy and Races through out all classes, since that is already getting rather big, but either way its all there.

What server were you trying? If montrealssd is slow try fremont or uk (uk works good even in Canada and USA!). If you think it's your ISP/internet/connection to the server run the speedtest file in the root of the server and that will tell you how good your connection to the server is. For 1080p you'd need download speed about 20mbps for no buffering and 720p around 10mbps works well.

What server were you trying? If montrealssd is slow try fremont or uk (uk works good even in Canada and USA!). If you think it's your ISP/internet/connection to the server run the speedtest file in the root of the server and that will tell you how good your connection to the server is. I'm in Pakistan, Fremont always tend to work better for me, and right now the speedtest shows that. However there doesn't seem to be speedtest file on the UK server for me to test.

Will see if the speeds hold later into the night.
