Ramping difficulties

Spend the money on a course with Racer5 or Fast, doing ramps gets old really fast after going to the track. 5 Years experience riding is nothing really.

Fast is closed until further notice

As are all track events at all tracks in Canada. Those will have to wait until this virus subsides.

I don't think it was mentioned yet, but try to be in a lower gear and the revs up. I don't mean pin the throttle in 1st gear but being able to apply constant smooth power helps a lot for stability. The engine does some gyroscopic physics stuff when its spinning fast enough and that makes your bike stable in a corner. Decide the speed you want to go, figure out the gear that will let you do it at 50% throttle, then do the slow look press roll deal.

Assuming we're talking about the cbr, 3rd gear is probably a good spot for most posted 60-80 ramps. When I started out my biggest challenge was not downshifting into a turn. On the advice of a trusted buddy who recommended doing it in 3rd gear and in the top half of the rev range instead of 5th, it changed everything.

Cop that is not too busy see's that for 2 seconds and you have 2 street racing charges for sure.
If he managed to catch them I guess.
