Hey GTAM, I've been on an extended hiatus due to child-rearing, blahblahblah. I have the itch though, and I think I'm just gonna get back on the saddle. I sold my Sportster a few years back, but this time around I want something small, nimble, cheap, and fun. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a used Ninja 250 and ride it like a hooligan.

Nice to see some names I recognize still posting on the board.

Yeah yeah....I miss my Sporty. But I'm talking, REALLY cheap. HD's have a habit of retaining their value.

Welcome back, why not look for a 300 instead of the 250? Doesn't hurt to have that extra little bit and the styling is way nicer on the 300's. Insurance is probably the same as a 250 as well, and it will be interesting to see if you get hit with the insurance hike after such a hiatus.
