Hey lady and gents,

After years of thinking about motorcycles, I finally pulled the trigger on a R3 yesterday. :cool:

Looking forward to seeing some of you on the road and receiving/giving my first bike wave.

Given and received countless Subaru waves before but I think my first one on a bike will be different.

Congrats on the new wheels. The rear shock is very soft on the R3 so if you weigh anymore then 170lbs I would suggest turning the shock preload up before you do anything.

haha yeah. It's mostly the turbo or modified subies that acknowledge your existence.

Yeah I weigh about 140 or so. I just hope that doesn't become a problem in the future...

Unfortunately the bike is still at the dealer. Don't have any post worthy pics yet...

Picking the bike up in 2 weeks...:D

Haha yeah I was cross shopping the cbr300 too. If they had a 300cc twin, I'd be all over the Honda.

Yep. I've got a '10 STi and "wave" to other turbo guys. I don't even think about it with n/a Imprezas and the like.

I guess I make a similar distinction with motorcycles; I won't usually bother with mopeds or scooters either :)
