I think that the latest information is that it was caused by a leak, but they don't know why.

A gas leak a few years back turned a strip mall near Bloor / Kipling into a pile of bricks. Looked like the London blitz.

A leak can not get to that level in a house,unless it is a straight open pipe pretty much. It was caused by gas, but not what would be considered a leak. An explosion like that is not an accident.

No that is public knowledge. There is other information that hasn't been released. After the investigation I can say more.

That was not a normal gas leak. A contractor digging in the street pulled a gas service,it crack a fitting inside, the pressure inside the building was over 40 psi, release 40 psi in a building and then you get an explosion.that is why there is no more inside pressure gas.

You don't get this kind of explosion from a little contained gas. For a light switch to ignite gas it would have to arc giving off enough heat energy. What would cause the switch to arc? Also I don't buy in to the doorbell theory either.
