Try a Sportster (duck for cover) and I will bet money you will like them, I started on a 250 and beleive me a Sportster is fun fun fun, and not that heavy a bike. I live near mountains it does excellent in the winding roads... I ride up the ski hill roads often ,I agree somewhat not likely to buy much larger then a Sportster maybe a Fat Bob.
I relize I may have joined the wrong forum but what the heck. My bike has never broken down once or leaked an ounze of oil, why do think everything is better? It sounds like your repeating what others say
As a fairly new rider I take offense to the CBR 250 remark. As a female who's not built like a brick s*** house, I have to start somewhere and build up my skill level! It's still better than a Harley!Then again, what isn't?!
