Why are they not legal to use? & maybe those others did not use enough butyl glue when resealing.

Every headlight used on highway has to be approved and DOT labeled. They are not. I dont care but they are not HTA approved.

I had mine retro fitted with bi-xenons, halos & demon eyes at www.sickhids.com a bit pricey but I like them & they are something different!

Neither as a lot of stuff that people throw on there bikes. What's your point?
 
Yes with retro fits you get dual low & dual high beams, that's the primary reason on why I did it because the factory lighting sucks & I hate the 1 headlight on only...to me it looks like it has a burnt out light!

I WAS ASKED! Thats my point I dont give a crap one way or the other just pointing out that they are not legal. This is coming from a guy raped twice in four months by MTO for crap just like this (not this exactly) . Also being that I run a shop and install stuff all the time (look at the pics of a set I installed a couple weeks ago) I just point it out to customers what they do after that isnt on me. Next time you want to be a smarta$$ maybe read the posts leading up? Just sayin.
There are lots of regs that people ignore, license placement, integrated tail lights, flush mount signals, fender eliminator, cat removal any of which can get you ticketed most times cops dont know or care but all you need is one rambo.
