Castrol chain lube

Just in case you were going to pick up a can of these; make sure you wrap them in a few bags:

sitting on my shelf for about 5 months @ room temperature:pottytrain4:
 
How did that happen?

Could leaving it in freezing temps cause that....? Somehow?
Though, out of all the cans of chain lube and other materials in the garage I have, thats never happened....


Edit: Just read that it was left in room temp.

But... Why is your chain lube black? O_O

Thanks for making me paranoid guys. I'm gonna check my stuff before I head off to work now lol

Because that Castrol **** is black....it's meant for chainsaws, maybe motocross bikes, definitely not street bikes...unless you want a huge mess.
