I found a bike for sale good condition low kms and cheap... seemed to cheap to be true so for the hell of it I email the seller and his response was he is working overseas has left it with a friend and he can no longer handle the sale of said motorcycle so the seller has entrusted the motorcyle with a private truck driver.
So he is asking for my NAME... ADDRESS... PHONE NUMBER and one other piece of personal info,I can't remember I deleted the email right away.He says the truck driver will deliver the bike to my door with the papers and after I check out the bike and papers and test ride it I can pay for it.

Right away SCAM SCAM came to mind cause the bike is priced too cheap and too many stories. What a fricken joke

What do you guys think????

Hmm

Ownership
Uvip
And a legal letter from the owner/ truck driver stating truck driver is selling my bike year make model with the vin number due to the circumstances etc blah blah blah. Take a picture and another legal letter (affidavit?) between you and the seller and youre on your merry way.

Make sure the uvip is up to date and that everything matches.

If the trucker has/can do this, i dont see a problem. You have the chance to test ride so thats a plus.

Now if i dont like that route, send me the info ill prob take the bike if its a good deal as youve stated ;)

Wow, he's good. Never thought about that approach before!

I suspect that they're going to try to rip you off for a couple hundred bucks to pay the 'truck driver' or something once they gain your trust. There's no bike.

I always include my bank account number and PIN, just to make sure.

I wonder where they get you? If there is not bike he obviously doesn't get paid.

Sent from my tablet using my paws

chance this is not a scam. 0.000009%

So you might get a good deal. Reply with an email tell him that the truck driver will have to have the info that JimSun mentioned

Tell him that you will in no way send no funds upfront and will only Pay cash to the truck driver after you have examined it

Most likely you wont get a reply.. I you do you might be legit but as soon as the ask you to send anything before seeing the bike then its a scam

Its a scam tho...probably ...defiantly.. Maby

I sent over $3000.00 last week! I should expect a shipment of diamonds in a few days!!! So Excited!!!
LOL. I hope I get my shipment too? :( How come everyone ends up lucky with the huge african prince inheritances

10 million sure would be nice

As I stated in my original post of course I know its a scam because I deleted the email maybe for some fun I will give him my neighbors address across the street who I don't like very much and watch it go down for some giggles

Well he did promise me I'd have it in time for Christmas! Looks like a lucky lady friend of mine will be getting extra lucky this year! Best $3000 EVER!!!

If I do however get your shipment as well, I'll call you. I mean it does make sense to send these two together. Freights expensive!

there usually is no actual truck driver so nothing would happen
