What time of the year do these brands have the best deals? I'll probably lease and then buyout after.

Any recommendations and hookups are appreciated!

Thanks.

Most dealerships try to get rid of their old inventory at the end of the year....

Why would you want to lease and then buy it out? Why not buy it upfront and pay less from the get go?

cash flow purposes and the fact the interest rate is lower on some brands for lease rather than finance.

I thought lease was always a bad idea unless tax deductible.

Expensed through business.. although finance is the same thing. With leasing your payments are lower and you can do something else with that money for that time. Usually the residual value left to buyout the car is lower than what market value is so you can sell it at that point and make money on it.

Interest rate is lower to lease so I'll lease for now. All I care about is the interest rate.

Even when leasing for a business "tax deductible" doesn't mean what majority of people out there think it means.
You're simply paying less tax because you kept less money...

All dealers have certain quotas to meet if they want to get a sort of cash back from the manufacturer.. Differed from each manufacturer... Toyota for instance has individual contracts with its dealers(no specific date).. GM on the other hand has a fixed date for its dealers to meet the sales targets.. The trick is to find out which system is being utilised by the manufacturer of your choice as well as the date if contract renewal if sorts for the dealership..... My associate both a dodge caravan below the dealers invoice price since its was too close to the quota date for the dealer.. And was more financially beneficial for the dealer to sell the last few cars at a loss to meet the annual sales target..

Why would you think that? Leasing vs financing is nothing but an arithmetic question, there are times when leasing is cheaper and there are times when financing/owning "might" be cheaper.

If the lease rate and finance rate are identical then leasing IS cheaper. If the lease rate is in fact lower than finance than leasing is definitely the way to go. In fact if the lease rate is even a bit higher than the finance rate it could still work out to be cheaper than financing.

Whether you reduce your small business tax bill by 15.5% or reduce your personal tax bill by up to 46.5% it's still a great opportunity if you can put your vehicle through a business. Even the HST flows through to some extent.

Much better than paying after tax dollars plus the HST all personally.

Well what did you get?

Legalize lane splitting! While you're at it legalize all self entitled behaviour on Ontario roads. Screw everybody!

Ya but what majority of people do is figure hey its free money! I get to "write it off"!
So off they go and get a $700 dollar a month lease because to them its "free" lol when they could have purchased a car for 250-400 instead.

Never free.. only cheaper. Still money you earned that you are spending. All good. Get what you can afford. Remember things could go wrong in the future... so plan ahead.

BMW makes unreliable cars. That's why you see them everywhere

You can find Internet posts everywhere calling any brand a lemon.

Are BMW's and the like unreliable? Definitely not as bad as some people think. Are Honda's and the like more reliable? By a good margin, but not as bulletproof as some people think.
