Did you clean with alcohol first? Try clear gasket maker or double sided tape.

Simple green and then glass cleaner. Tank was clean as clean could be. It stuck absolutely everywhere else no problem. I'm thinking it was the adhesive on the stomp grip itself that was fubar in that one spot.

Before I start messing with it I put an email in to dealer, see what's what tomorrow.

Well mine stuck no problem. May just be a bad batch.

Used stomp grip alot, best for grip. Worst for sticking. They have a secondary adhesive that you apply to the main glue. Works awesome.
Tech spec is the best just for riding the road.

What is this secondary adhesive you speak of?

Bikes mostly track...

I had my stomp grip come off my tank at Mosport a few weeks ago.

Didnt even notice it dropped down, and ended up near the front sprocket. I couldnt figure out what all the plastic crap was on my chain after i came back in.

I purchased mine from blue streak.
Whom ever you bought them from should have a tube of it. It seems like a Krazy glue base.
If they don't know about it. Tony@ Blue streak knows and has them.
Cost is usually $0. Part of stomp price.

get some spray on adhesive glue.. basically rubber cement.

although, i put mine on no issues so im kinda wondering whats up with that.
i cleaned with alchohol, put on using hairdryer and not touching the glue surface, worked almost all the little bubbels out.
mine have beenb on for 3000km this year and a little rain and my buddies have been on s or 3 seasons now.. lots of use...probably 16km or more and no issues, lots a diferent weather.
