Helmets when you're not riding.

My bank hit the panic button on me once, YRP was waiting for me outside, we were all a little confused. Bleeping Richmond Hill lol

LMAO

Did they YRP ask the bank wtf? Or did they blame you for having the helmet on?

Get a buddy and do it again. Keep doing it until they put a sign up stating no helmets allowed.
If they try to give you a hard time just stay calm and ask them if they have this conversation with women wearing a bourqa/borka.

Told me to be more cautious and considerate, told the teller who jumped the gun to calm the eff down. Apparently she didn't even say anything to the branch manager lol.

It was pretty funny, two cops walked up to me and asked if I just robbed the bank, we lol'd and went inside and had those 2 chats.

i don't take mine off unless i'm going to a mall, restaurant, or going to be talking to someone. i am usually the guy with leathers and helmet on groceries shopping.

Wow, that's crazy! I try to say Hi to the security guard when heading in so hopefully this doesn't happen to me. Too much trouble to take the helmet off, my hands are already full carrying my gloves!

I wonder if you'd get the same reaction if you were wearing a helmet like this:

I wore my helmet to the bank once. Was going to use the atm but then saw my friend at the teller so I went there. Tellers had no problem with it and we joked about it looking like I'm going to rob the bank lol.

I just go to the drive through ATMs. Freakin awesome that I don't have to get off the bike.

Risky, Julz. Choose the time and place wisely. You're especially vulnerable in this situation. Any brave and desperate punk can make a quick cash grab while you're occupied with keeping the bike up.

I wear the helmet in all kinds of situations if it's more convenient even if it looks retarded because looking retarded is no big deal if your anonymous. It's like being on this forum.

Got to the GF's apartment building, had my hands full with a backpack, tank bag, her helmet and jacket. Needed to keep one hand free to use the keys, so I just left the helmet on.
Got in the elevator with some middle age lady that was looking at me pretty nervously. Told her to relax, I'm not robbing anyone. Got her to at least crack a smile.

Normally I leave it on when paying for gas or for running in for the ATM. In almost every other case, it's off. Helmets make awesome shopping baskets.

for someone like me that wears glasses I'd rather keep my helmet on. Or I could get a beanie helmet.

Yeah, surprised here that there are no signs saying no motorcycle helmets at gas again and banks. I keep on at gas stations.

We just need to make up a fairy tale that says we have to leave them on. Then with a straight face we tell everyone that we believe it's true.

I grab timmies in a thermos every morning, and I'll usually leave it on for that, because it's a modular, and I can just flip it up. Basically: convenience store, gas, and tim hortons when I'm not staying, I leave it on.

Honestly, that would be a HUGE piss off, and I'd boycott any station that enforced that. Often I don't even get off my bike; we have prepay for a reason.

I see guys go into a bike shop and leave their lid on for 20min and order parts and yack. Looked like a couple of cool bro's with awesome stories.

Leave on, no issues...
