Circumstances of the INJURIES I Sustained & Survived While Riding a Bike

Re: The INJURIES I survived while riding a bike

Are we after bragging rights here with the most scars. The whole idea is to enjoy the hobby/sport and do it as safe as possible.

If the actual story is told, rather than just a list of injuries, then a discussion can start about how to avoid the same sort of collision (if possible).

Re: The INJURIES I survived while riding a bike

I dunno man... generally if I start talking about crashes and scars people just tell me riding is probably not for me and poke fun at me. Not sure where you go that bragging about some stupid crap that got you hurt makes you cool.

unL33T, it's all good. Motorbikes is a risky life style. We ride, we get hurt. However only a few of us remain motivated to get back up and continue riding. Motivated by the love of riding.
And no matter what others say, they just don't get it.

Bloody Russian judge only gave me a 6.5 because I didn't stick the landing.

LOL Loved it!

I once did a 6 hour ride on my old 250 ninja. I'm 6'2". My knees and my butt were really sore after. No scars thankfully. ;)

Re: The INJURIES I survived while riding a bike

As I mentioned, up-thread, it might be better to share the circumstances that resulted in the injuries, so that this is more of an educational thread. If it's just a scar comparison, then I'd rather look up Katee Sackhoff.

Re: The INJURIES I survived while riding a bike

Agree. Let's rename the thread into "Circumstances of the INJURIES I Sustained & Survived While Riding a Bike".

Or simply "Crash Log".

Sig worthy.

I agree, it should be an educational discussion on how we prevent these from recurring.

Re: The INJURIES I survived while riding a bike

Ran over a pine cone this morning in a parking lot while turning into a parking spot.

Frame sliders saved nearly everything except for some minor scratches on my handlebar end, mirror, clutch lever and rearset peg. Knee is road rashed (was wearing regular jeans), Handroid palm guards are kinda scratched. Ego is also bruised.

............................pine cones are my arch nemesis now. I am kicking every single one I see.

Really? A pine cone?

Either way, I'm glad there wasn't any major damage and that you're ok. (for the most part)
What kind of sliders do you have?
