Best Cargo Pants?

Best Cargo Pants?

I like wearing cargo pants when riding. Lots of room, and lots of pockets for wallet, phone, keys etc. The ones I have now are BC Clothing, they turn into shorts as well with leg zippers. I can't find them to buy anymore tho. Anyone else wear cargo pants? And if so, what brand?

I have them as well but found them too heavy. I like nylon or polyester convertibles for riding and then knee armour underneath.

Mine has side zips for the boots and armor. I just pull waterproof over pants on for wet, poly long underwear underneath for cooler weather.
Easy to wash and good for other than riding. I like Columbia gear.
Any hiking store will have a variety.
I'd stay off cotton tho

These look very good with the adjustable inseam

BC convertible cargo pants are available at Costco if you or someone you know has a membership

What about Icon Brawnson over pants. Got a cargo style to them. And when your not walking, cuz they make that sound since they are textile, they look just like pants.

Velocity cargos? Can't speak to their crash prowess (knock on wood) but they're comfy and have Kevlar in the good places

I got mine from eBay, seems to have more kevlar than most of the other well known brands out there like Icon, Speed and Strength, and even Dainese. I replaced the provided armour with Forcefield armour in the hip and knees...

I also got a pair of these from ebay last year.
Great quality and probably can't beat them for the price. Fast delivery and no extra charges from post, etc.

Who carries these Velocity Cargos in the GTA? I'm also looking.

We don't usually stock these but always have some inventory. If there is enough interest maybe another group buy? Allow you to choose the colour, waist size and in seam at a discounted price.

Oh I'm in for another group buy

Got them at Costco, three years ago:

Perfect pants for hot weather riding. Light material unlike Draggin etc. a pair of knee guards underneath and good to go. Eight pockets! And they're all on Velcro so you can glove things. They're the best. If anyone is near a Costco please advise if they still sell them!
Yep, they still sell them. I go through 1 pair or so every year (use them for hiking and they take a lot of abuse). If you don't have membership - just ask someone who has to get you a Costco giftcard. This way you can shop without buying membership and if thee is not enough on GC to cover the purchase - you can pay the difference with cash.

I purchased the Sartso jeans last year. Has anyone tried their cargo pants?

My BC convertible cargos are comfy but my fave riding convertible cargos are my BMW Summer 2 pants. There's much more protection and while definitely hotter on hot days, they can be partially unzipped to help cool things down but then that would make protective pants much less so but it's nice to have options.

Once you decide where along the protection <-> comfort line you want to be at, go for it.

BTW, I just bought the BC's a few months ago from Costco. They might sell them only every once in awhile? Maybe each store carries different stock too?

Those BC cargos offer any kind of protection? They look like really thin nylon to me.

I'm in for a group buy on the Velocity Cargo. How many people are needed to get this going?
