The Collection is much more extensive, those are just some of the older ones.

Someone has fun figuringout what to ride to work lol

Thats an awesome collection.

Had one when I was a Kid, I restored this one and another before selling them along with a couple unrestored to a Guy in Massachusetts. Tires are impossible to get now days.

I can imagine!

You're my hero:)

Yeah that's pretty impressive, but can you really use and enjoy all of them?

Funny, there's three models that I used to own, and the K1200RS looks identical to mine.

Yes, Yes I can.

Used to tour on a Vmax, Now I use it mostly to tow other bikes or if I am going Dirt Bike riding away from home, I tow the dirt bike so I do not have to take the truck. The Vmax and the BMW K1200RS are the only two that the Kids (Age 6 and 8) get to ride with me on since I have them equipped with a backreast. The CRF 250X is my off-road bike (Although it is street plated) and I ride single track and try to do at least one big enduro event each year. The SV 650S I take to the track for track days and my daughter rides it on the street. I do more touring now with the BMW K1200RS. I just got the KTM950 Adventure and I like it, I have it equipped with knobbies and run it some single track but mostly seasonal roads and traila as we hanve hundereds of seasonal roads in this area. The Buell my Wife rides. The Honda Hawk GT and The VFR I ride around town and when my daughter wants to go out riding I usually take one of those. The FZ1 explains itself. I have a couple bikes that are up on the shelf such as the 1980 Suzuki TS100 with 394 original miles. I have several dirts bikes I use for training (I also teach the basic Dirt Bike Classes) and I also use them for the Kids and grandkids when we are out riding dirt so nice to have around. The CB1 I have not ridden much as I have not had it long either.

I love my bikes and will keep collecting bikes that I like.

do you hate kawasaki? what kind of blasphemy ... :D

Actually I picked up a Kawasaki KLX250 in April, and I have had several Kawasaki EX250 Ninja's But sold them this spring. Let me Niece use one for a year. Great bikes.

According to the title, this steed is 57 years old. However many of the parts are newer, I'd wager none but the tires are newer than 10 years old.

My new project. :)

Thank you! That's an Electroglide frame of year as to yet indetermined, '58 FLH Police style seat, Generator Panhead bottom and Shovelhead topend, and whole bunch of other stuff thrown on there. Not sure if it was someone's baby or a pile of used parts thrown together with a title to make a bike, but I'm working on it.

First things first, get it running, and get the clutch and shifter working. It had a jockey shift on it at some point, and there is no linkage there to connect to the forward controls. Good thing I have a shovelhead/panhead freak for a mechanic friend. At least the brakes and electrical are hooked up and work well. This bike has a Quebec title but has been in Ontario for, oh probably at least 4 or 5 years, possibly a lot longer. I'll find out when I pull the UVIP lol

A new riding season is upon us... thought I'd revive my favourite thread ;)

And then some mod felt like moving a 3 year old thread to another section.

Consider it revived... ;)

Since my bike is nice and old can I play too?

My bike is a 1981 Honda CB 750 Custom. ASAIK this is the last year of the quad pipes. My bike is kind of weird. The Shadow which followed shortly thereafter was certainly much more of a typical "custom" with a V-twin engine etc. This was the last year of the CB 750... Enter the Nighthawk in 1982.

Just the same I love these old air cooled inline 4s.

These bikes ruled the roads and showrooms at one time. Now everything is all plastic unless you want a cruiser. Now, I like cruisers but I prefer the midset controls on these old "standards" plus the dual binacle instrumentation.

Now, for a new bike I would be interested in this. Please give me one in blue though:
