Im planning to pick up a bike in michigan and bringing it over the border. its a 2008 yamaha r6, with recall clearance, title and the whole package ready to go.. the only thing holding me back is insurance.. im 23 year old male, who has had my G for 6 years now and clean driving record. I see alot of people talking about statefarm and duffy, but does anyone know if they would be willing to insure someone like me up north?

I don't see any reason they won't.

okay i was just wondering, it would probably be cheaper.. i know insurance down south is a bit more expensive?

Id definitely give them a call first. They'll tell you and will let you know how much this will cost you.

insurance will be cheaper up north, your postal code will be the ticket to a better rate.

It's like he says, your location is what drives rates, not where the insurance company offices are located.

I live in petawawa. Lower insurance rates. And my insurance agents are all back in southern Ontario.

Try TD insurance http://www.tdinsurance.com/products...ehicle-insurance/motorcycle/rv-moto-index.jsp

I have been hearing good things about them from a few people.
