Bye Bye Tommy boy Ford kicked out!!

Important to remember, when entering the US , and they decide "they don't want you" , you can withdraw application to enter the US. They have a standard form and you sign it. It means you can try and go back another time, possible when your things are in order. If you are denied entry you cannot go back to the US for a prescribed period of time regardless of why. You are now on the special list. You can get on the special list for just answering a question wrong.

If your somebody that wants/needs to travel to the US a lot , never fib to the customs guys.

Rob Ford is probably at the Homewood treatment center in Guelph, its a world class pay as you play facility so it makes sense. Its about $20k for a month, but they have an ok track record. They probably don't wish to aknowledge he is there anymore than him so when he falls off the wagon it wont affect their track record.
 
Other than maybe RockerGuy it seems everyone has figured out that Rob no longer stands a chance in this election.
The interesting thing is that if the Fords come to the same conclusion then Dougie will probably just step in to run for mayor as Robbie drops out (to run for council) .
Will this have legs?

A customs officer once asked me and every one else in my car, one by one, if any of us EVER smoked weed. I was tempted to tell him I did in Netherlands, but I decided it was better to admit I never smoked weed. WTF?

That's it exactly. If you withdraw your application to enter it doesn't count against you. You can reapply for entry after 72 hours lapses, I think. Even on a private flight a person still has to pass through international customs. Clearly he was being denied entry - he was smart not to fight it, because he'd still be denied in the end, but with a big news event attached.
 
I bet I can guess what he was doing at the hospital for 4 days. Full body blood transfusion so he doesn't get withdrawal.

If this is true, then good for RoFo for getting help he desperately needs. Will he be successful in getting a handle on his substance additions? We can only guess.

What is certain, is that even if he is successful at holding back his addition demons, he is still a liar, a homophobe, a misogynist, and a bigot.

Some people can actually quit cold turkey. Addiction varies by personality also.

Even with all of ford's current allegations he is still a better choice than what is out there... only other real person I see that could benefit Toronto is tory

Tory's the guy I'll be voting for. Don't see a choice in any of the others.. The cow will wreck the city and the rest will just bumble their way through the term.

We all judge each other all the time without all the facts. Yourself included. It's human nature, nothing particularly anti-Ford about it. Except the anti-Forder have very good reason to doubt every last thing he and his enablers utter.

It sounds instead like you're looking to justify your hatred of them, just like you're trying to justify your support for Ford. I mean, this is seriously what passes for a victory in the Ford Nation camp now?

Not sure what quitting cold turkey has to do with anything either, other than an attempt to minimize the problem.

When someone has been proven a liar time and again, and has called other people lairs and worse to cover his own lies, I think that it's normal for people to prejudge him on future events. A pattern of behaviour rarely changes in any radical way. Leopard=> spots, Boy => wolf.

It will take more that this, for me.
