Toronto issues extreme cold weather alert
Temperatures expected to drop between -25 and -30 C by early Sunday

The City has issued an extreme cold weather alert, as temperatures are expected to dip to -15 C overnight.
By Sunday morning, Torontonians will be even colder, with temperatures falling between -25 and -30 C with the windchill, according to Environment Canada.

Yes cuz not all the riders see the touring forum and rather than repeat the long post was easier to link to the last page of the Down Under thread

Don't feel too bad today but learned a lesson about heat killing endurance....no walking out of the boonies for this boy. I normally carry 3 litres anyways on the bike - we - mainly me - were just stooopid on this supposedly casual walk around Botanical Gardens.

Dehydration is nasty on long trips - sneaks up and dulls judgement. Had a situation like that riding into the sun all day up on the Trans-Canada in northern Quebec....not a warm day - but sun and very dry and simply did not notice until head was splitting and groggy. I get more water into me when riding after that.
