Screw that, just do it the boat way. Type a code in to bring it to life. Less crap to carry. Cost almost zero, should be easy to make weatherproof and should be good for more than enough cycles.
Yeah, was waiting for his ChinCam to knock the key out.
It may be a cost-cutting measure. The newer Ducati Monsters have the ignition in the same spot.
I wish my multistrada had the ignition up there. It's buried way down where it's actually Impossible to reach with a glove on.
