I've done -20 before without heated gear. It honestly wasn't too bad. The only reason why I stopped riding in the cold is because there's not enough traction to have any fun when the pavement is that cold.

There was 2 motorcycles out on the street by a condo on the east end. This condo in the summer is rammed with 15-20 bikes off the street, and now it looks like 2 are still riding, or at least have left their bikes out (a newer ninja 300 and ducati monster). I drove by yesterday and saw how they were completely white - caked in road salt. Very sad.
