I saw a 2010 GSX-R1000 anniversary edition at GP Bikes this weekend that had a gold R. Since the dealers are closed right now, does anyone know if they would carry the emblems for anniversary edition bikes?
Would Suzuki dealers carry anniversary edition emblems?

Our system shows the 2010 GSX-R 1000, and if I'm looking at the correct R (side cowling) it would be $67.35+tax per side, and Suzuki Canada does have them in stock for us to order

Expect a call from 407 and Yonge soon, I called them with the part number and the parts dude will likely be calling to confirm it's what I want. As for the price I'm not surprised, it's pretty close to bike bandit costs from the regular GSXR emblems.
I will in a second, the stock emblems are raised I think. Maybe I'm just being anal but I like the raised look =(
Mina it is expensive but if I'm correct about what I think he wants, it's not just a sticker. And no regular sticker shop is going to be able to make that like it is. They are emblems that are raised and actually made of real metal. No die cut sticker is going to have the same affect
Yes you are correct. The parts guy at 407 and Yonge laughed at me and told me to sleep on it when I wasn't sure if I wanted to order it. I think I'll wait till I finish Total Control this weekend first before deciding, plus it gives the trackside guy time to see if he can do what the OEM does.

I have handled the emblems you want and they are not that simple to make, you would need a very expensive mold to even press them into shape...
If you just want a plain flat sticker that is gold and in the shape of a R then yes any sign or sticker shop can make them easily

Didn't know they were like that, I assumed they were just flat stickers like I have on mine.
^^Either way I agree with you. That kind of pricing is nuts for something so subtle. That said I'd pay it if they had it in carbon instead of gold
Simple but you need to think of what it takes to make it, not just how subtle it looks like in your opinion.
Seriously go out and ask a machine shop how much to make the mold to form that R
Most people would be happy with a flat R in gold, but that one has really nice detail IMO...
I dunno I just spent $1200 on titanium bolts for my bike that 90 percent of people will never even notice, so $60 stickers aren't that insane to me...To each their own..

It get worse, much much worse trust me....Sometimes it seems makes no sense at all, like a sticker will be $60 but a rearset or some other mechanical part that you think would cost way more is only $50...
Then you get into $800+ radiators, wheels, fuel tanks etc.....Did insurance on a 08 CBR 600RR for a friend, her bike was backed into and knocked over while parked on the street. Simple tip over, was $5000 in replacement parts. Insurance didnt even want to fix it, from a tip over!

I'm conflicted between trying to ride hard and cosmetic mods because one little "whoops" and #@$(*&#@$KD@.
And @ Roomie, I was thinking of real carbon fiber for the tank and tail sections because the bike, stock, comes with carbon fiber accents already. I don't know why they only did a tiny segment (between the tank and frame). Googling shows that it'll cost around $500+ for both parts lol
