I couldnt believe it either. A car worth 4000$, insurance would be same as my van. About 2k a year.

Anyway. So a 2nd car is out of question.



Short distance is 15 km city roads.

I'd vote on the scooter too. I grabbed a little BWS 50 so I could get my little guy used to riding on a bike with me until he's big enough to ride on my bike. Stupid thing is so much fun though, I ride it around town a lot. 1500 bucks for the scooter, and I pay 120 bucks a year to insure it
