I saw a poster at my local Shell station for a chance to win a 2011 Gixxer 1000 , and thought it might be appealing to some of you guys/gals. :p

Requirements: Fill out some personal info, and answer a skill testing question.

Contest Start/End Date: 09/12/2012 - 11/06/2012

Draw Date: 09/12/12

Now we wait for a GSXR 1000 post on GTAM and we can all get jelly together :D .

Thank god I'm a math genius because that was the hardest skill question ever:rolleyes:. Sorry guys/girls and the other 5 types of sexes or whatever the toronto school board said, but this gixxer is mine! So don't bother entering;)
 
I entered, but if I win.. I won't know what to do with it. I am not ready for an 1000 yet

Because I can't afford insurance on a 1000.

Or maybe give it away.

That's not true. Everyone is ready for a 1000. You have to squeeze it a lot less to get the same out of it, so you usually find it calmer and easier to ride.

If you're not short come out on our next group ride and we'll swap bikes for a bit. Warning: Once you ride the 1000 nothing else will suffice ;)

Yup, it's a quick lure. A sportbike is peanuts compared to the value of the personal information Shell will reap--and sell dozens of times over. These sorts of contests or sweepstakes have a history of being "won" by friends of the organizers, too.

lmao I entered the other contests on their web site first and they all had questions that were a bit harder(still easy) with more options for an answer. Too funny that they picked an easier question with less options making it easier to get the answer for people that want to win a gsxr:)
