Will Statefarm make an exception?

I'm 20, and will be turning 21 as on June 1st. As of June 1st , I will have had my car license (G) for 5 years, and my motorcycle (M2) for 2 years. No tickets or accidents.

Looks to me as if im eligible for Statefarm at of June 1st, but I remember reading on the boards once that they may be able to make an exception if I am within a month or 2 of eligibility. I will be calling an agent on Monday but wanted a general idea of what to expect when I proceed. Bike is a Ninja 250r, TD renewed me at $154/month. (looking to upgrade to a Ninja 650r)

You would have to call them to see if they will make an exception as different insurance agents will do/say different things.
I heard many people don't go with StateFarm with the ninja 650 cause they find that Jevco/Intact is a lot cheaper.
Call them for a hypothetical quote.

I called them last week because in April would be 5 years for me. Sadly its 6 years now. :(

But you could try calling...

Umm... I think the age "requirement" depends on your broker. I just got a policy started 1 month ago with 5 years G1/G2/G exp with SF. BUT from the 3 SF insurance agents I called, 1 of them said I needed 6 years.

If you want, PM me and I can send you their info

My statefarm agent said i needed AT LEAST 5 years experience, no less, even though i've been a statefarm customer for years.
