Why the 427?

I live around eglinton and winst ok n churchill that has no interesting roads around and I hear bikes all the time. Dont mind it though
 
I live at the bottom (yes, that's right, underneath it) of the 427. I don't care so much about anybody rippin' it on the hwy. What I care about is when they pass through the traffic lights at bottom the F@#$@% speed limit is 50km. There are cross streets, houses and business. Slow down. Go back out on the hwy and have fun.

Oh, and whenever I hear them go by, I roll over and go back to sleep, thankful once again that someone out there at 3am was thoughtful enough to save my life.
 
I lived at York Mills and the DVP years ago. Many a summer night I would be lying in bed listening to the plaintive wail of a SS ripping it on the DVP.

You don't ride down a certain Etobicoke road about 4-5am, do you? It sounds like a pinned two-stroke.

Nope. Don't think I've ever even ridden in Etobicoke except down the 427 a few times and that was on my 650R.

yea, my bike at highway speeds is revving at 9000-10000rpm. Not sure how loud it is to others, cuz I'm always riding it. Never had someone else take it out so I can see how loud it actually is.

Not sure what your riding but my 929RR sits at around 5300rpm at at 60mph down 2 on rear sprocket
 
I have a lot of theories about those... err, bikers... but I'll just get another infraction if I will post any of them. Oh well.
