Who's riding?

You could say the exact same thing about chewing tinfoil.

There are some things you look at and wonder WTF?! Some people’s pleasure is another’s pain. Fashion over function etc.

I loved riding my Sportser all day and weekend with feet forward and drag bars and rattling my teeth loose every gravel stone along the way. I would polish and clean that machine and stare at it all winter dreaming for warm weather to ride it again.

Now? I’d be emotional to have one again. But, would I want to take it for a ride more than an hour? I’d probably spend more time with it in the garage with tins of Pledge and microfibre towels than ride it all weekend or romp it for more than a stop for fuel for its tiny peanut tank.

Apes? No thanks. I have a hard enough time at the gym and the lat machine. 😩

Edit. Or Starbucks and latte machine. 😂

Agreed...... I'll ride anything once. Why not?

Fair warning: @mods are currently on high alert for "yo momma" comments in this thread.

Resist the temptation, GTAM. Resist it.

A fellow gave me a very nice pair of heavy wall chromed ape hangers. I did the only logical thing and cut them up with an angle grinder to make my front lawn snake sculpture that I posted a while back.

Seems like a missed opportunity....

Whats funny I didn't tell the Ai to add in the tassel's on the grip.. it might have a sense of humour.

Not sure if this is a motorcycling crime or not but I was thinking about getting a new bike a few weeks ago and spent time reading through articles etc. New bike syndrome is real. I thought wouldn’t it be nice to get a smaller displacement bike, one of the new crop of 700cc ish ADV bikes or even….a cruiser. After another lovely ride on my big, impractical, heavy as anything KTM and I don’t want anything else right now. Well, until it tips over again and I have to pick it up.

100%

I find that it gets really bad at the start of the riding season.

Also equally bad in the middle of the ridng season.

And just as bad at the end and during off-season...
