Who's going to the show?

So my main reason to go was a good deal on a jacket (non leather) and to see if they had a deal on the helmet I want. Sounds like I'll just go back to royal. Should have gone to the show in January
lots of size medium jackets there....too small for me.

I just left the show as well, I wasn't blown away. I did buy custom ear plugs though :)

The show on a scale out of 10... I give it a 6. Bought gloves and took a few pics. I think it needs an "Import Fest" type set up and environment. Live musical acts on big stage, show bikes, bike dealers, vendors, etc.

Just my two cents!

I'm a new rider and bought some glovest, aria helmet, and Joe rocket jacket, alpine stars boots

Picked up a new pair of boots, couldn't pass up vortices at 300 bucks. Sadly no one had the pants I wanted in my size

That's why I didn't bother. Figured anything I would have wanted they wouldn't have left in my size. I spent the day spending money on rev, gp and royal instead lol

It's a decent fix for bikes after being stuck looking online all winter, but there was a lot of over priced items there. Some items were double the price of in store, like one vendor selling a cargo net for $15 and in Royal it costs $9 minus the $15 to get into the place. Oh well, at least I know which show not to go to next year.

This is one thing I find kind of cheapens some shows, particularly the Auto Show. I understand they have got to fill space and make money to pay for the venue, but at least try to keep it more related to the theme of the event and not try to sell soaps, moisturizers, tanning creams, and the like.

Being the first time I've gone to this particular "show" and I anticipated it to be more of a vendor fair/market than a showcase for new bikes (Like the December show). Which it was. But that was what I was looking for, I got some gear so Im happy. However I kind of feel cheated with there being a fee to get access to such an event (But i won tickets).

One show i feel really handles the balance between showcase and vendor market is the Spring Bicycle show. It's not manufacturers there, interest/ information groups, as well as vendors selling. But also demonstrations and competitions, its something that you could conceivably spend a weekend at.

Side note, I have often wondered if events like the LA or Geneva Autoshows; being bigtime important events, have areas selling pepperettes and oxiclean.

Yay! Sounds like I saved money and time by not going!

Boring show anyway.
Went last year and walked through in 20 minutes. Was going to go again this year, but woke up Saturday and remembered what a waste of time the show was last year, so I did other stuff.

Spent the money I saved at Home Depot. House is now worth more!

I swear these shows would be worth the money if they had stunt performances or some form of entertainment that involved riding.
