I'm looking to buy a Silver EXO 700 helmet, and I don't want to drive all the way to GP bikes in Whitby... Are there any stores in the GTA that sell this helmet? I called Riders Choice, Pro 6, Parker Bros, Pannon Sports; they don't stock Scorpion Helmets...

cycle world superstore don't carry them either, i just checked.

I have the exo 700 and I bought it from GP when it use to be in ajex. seems like you'll have to go there if you want it, or buy it online if you know your size.

You can try Kahunna Powersports. Located on Steeles west of Weston Rd.

They sell Scorpion helmets.

Sturgis in hamilton used to carry Scorpian. Not sure if they still do or not tho.

I got mine at Snow city cycle on Kennedy.
I just bought a new HJC and was just thinking today that I should sell my exo700.PM me if you're interested Rossi

I have 2 700's...don't buy one. They have been superceded by the 750, and the new model addresses almost al of my gripes with the 700. At Indy I squawked tot he Scorpion rep, and he told me to email him and he would send out the 750 parts to me, so I could update my 700s by boltingon the 750 parts, as the shells themselves haven't changed. The one gripe I have that they didn't address is the crappy, doctor's office couch type material that they use for the liner. It sucks compared to the nice soft lining of every other helmet I own.

If the price is much cheaper in the US and you are willing to drive or ride down, you could try getting it shipped to an address in buffalo and picking it up there. There's a few places that will hang on to your stuff for you at a minimal cost. CBI USA is one for example.

How you plan on crossing the border though, that's another story.

Any other changes on the 750 other than the headliner?

GP will ship it to you if they have it in stock. Give them a call. I had them ship me brakes once. Cost less than me driving out there.

the lining is not changed...i wish they wouldve. but it's the sideplate and ratcheting system and visor that are improved. 700's are well known and documented for flipping open when the rider looks over their shoulder. the visor ratchet system isn't stiff enough to keep the visor closed. The 750 has fixeed all that.

Nice. I have to 700 and my only gripe may be the sound. It can be a little loud on the Hwy. I have the dark visor and had no probs with it. Might try the 1000 or look for something a lot quieter.

Earplugs are quieter. And cheap.
And will contribute to your longterm hearing health.

The prices are good, but will I be charged duties and taxes upon recieving the helmet? I don't know I've never bought a helmet online... If yes, it would cost the same as buying locally.

It depends bro... sometimes you get hit, sometimes you dont. Either way it is cheaper than here.

So people pay $99-199 for a made in China helmet from a company that makes all kind of subpar gear, and then they complain that its noisy, flimsy, has a cheap interior, and visor keeps flipping up?

Right, I'm going to place an order for one right away!

The EXO 700 is discontinued, but I know Kahuna has a pile of various Scorpion helmets in stock.

Are you sure they are discontinued as I have seen them at Scorpion webbsite and the stores in California are not aware of the EX700 being discountinued. I have two EX700 great helmets.

Did you end up buying a scorpion helmet yet? Interested in buying a exo-1000 for $50? Used it only about 5 times. Never dropped still looks new. Just not the right shape for my head and too heavy.

Couldn't last longer than 1 hr in it so had to go back to my other brand.
