Care to share where?

There is a lot of great riding in the Barrie area. We have miles of single/double track trails. I have two friends who live in the gta, leave their bikes at my place so they can come north without a trailer etc.

Most if not all of the crown land has trails. The local club (scorra) has laid out and cut single track trails throughout. You must be an Oftr member, green plated with insurance to ride anywhere in simcoe county. There are online trail maps available for members. Most of these riding areas are 45 minutes to an hour from 400/401 area. There are also lots of open invites to ride on the scorra forum, for those who don't know the area. Pretty awesome club, great trails.

+1 for Trail Tours if you don't have a bike.
The one at Horseshoe is OK but I've found it caters more to the noob dirt rider (which actually may be a good thing in your case) and the trail system they ride on is much smaller.

If you have a bike then +1 for the Ganny, it's 11,000 acres and has just about any sort of terrain you could want. My only complaint is that it's sandy so set up your bike appropriately...

Speaking of the Ganny, it's big enough you don't want to do it alone. Buddy-system if you crash could be a life-saver. My son (14) and I have gone a few times and have never been disappointed.

I had one of the guys from Trail Tours guide me on the trails (I brought my own bike) it was just the two of us so we hit it pretty hard, and I did not let up on him either, He actually washed out a couple times with the pace. They can cater to your wants and needs. no matter your skill level and they even have all the riding gear you would need to see if it is for you.
