Where are the under 25 y/o riders at!?

licensed for 6 years m2 for 1 year (next year will be my 2nd year of insured riding and i will be able to go for my full M)
2009 ninja 250
age 24
$1600/yr with TD (Full Coverage) With group discount and my car with TD as well (price stated doesn't include car insurance its only the bike). Just a heads up op the discount you get for having a car with TD as well as a bike isn't that significant. I will probably switch my bike to statefarm once i turn 25 and get my full M next year, depends on the quotes i get when i call around.

wait desjardins insures people with their m2 for under a year? called them as a 19 yo rider and asked them and the lady told me I can't. she didn't seem like knew what she was talking about

you could try calling them again, and you'll probably get a different agent who might know better.

Update!!
I just called Desjardins and they will insure me for 3k, 2k less than what TD is charging me. btw, im 19

My R6 is insured with State Farm and I'm 24 years old. It was $4800 for just the bike, but dropped to $1800 when I added my car.

Curious as to what bike you asked them to insure aswell. TD was quoting me 3800 for liability only on my ninja 400r. I'm assuming you're picking up a 125 or 250 cc to get those "low" prices?

This is nuts...I sold my street R6 because I was sick of paying the $1200 a year to insure it.

I bought my bike and insured it a week after my M2. You just got a dumbass sales agent. Occasionally, I call for a quote and the agent asks how old I am, or tells me I need to be 25.

I posted a list of my old quotes on one of the older threads, see if you can find them.

With DesJardins? Also I don't mean to thread hijack right now I'm just trying to collect my bearings.

And I tried looking a while ago because I remember you saying that but I couldn't find the threads you were referring to.

I can't even find my own posts. lol
Basically I called a bunch of times and listed different bikes and got a quote. I formated it on excel, and made my decision to buy my current bike.

Generally my quotes for <300cc - $1400, <650cc - $15-3000.

Keep in mind, this is for liability only, with a very low purchase price, 18yrs at the time, with M2 for less than 2weeks.

Send me a pm, I'll send you the excel sheet if you like. I don't want to post outdated info.

Messaged you, seems like my pm system might not be working because it never has my sent messages in the sent folder but inbox me if you didn't get it

Your group rate sucks, I am with TD also, younger than you age of 23, paying $1024 for a 2010 Ninja 250R. I have 2 tickets and carries full M.

No car attached.

My insurance includes the liability, fire and theft ($100 deductible only, not 500 or 1000). If I want comprehensive is $200 more each year.

At the time it was my first year of insured riding, first year with m2 and living in Rexdale didn't help. Just moved out to Milton and my rate will be adjusted upon February renewal since i payed it all off already. If i didn't do full coverage my rate would have been way lower but i like having full coverage especially since it was my first year of riding.

Currently I am 23 y/o
TD MM
$900/yr
VTR 250
GM2

3 at-Fault, 1 not-at-fault and 1 moving Violation.
