So, can anyone tell me what is going on at Pete's Superbike right now?
I placed an order for a set of tires on Saturday. Currently, it's status is marked as "complete" and my bank account has been charged. I haven't received any tracking information, so I imagine that it still hasn't left their facility. That's not a huge problem - I figured I would just get in touch with them and see where it's standing.
Apparently, THAT is a huge problem. I emailed them at their info@ address, and received an auto-reply stating this:
"Hello, just to let you know that we are away we will be back at the shop on the 16th march, all orders that we recieve, will be shipped when i come back, if you cant wait, then no worries, you will be given a full refund when i come back. Just please let me know when you get this email if you can wait or not. Thank you.
Pete"
The 16th? What? That's 2 weeks processing? Now, I've never ordered from Pete's before, but I've heard only good things. I tried calling them and the line is dead. I can't seem to get in touch with anyone at this company. When I placed the order, at no point or anywhere on their site did it indicate what is expressed in that auto-reply. I also received only an order confirmation and nothing more. The tires were listed as in stock. Everything seemed business as usual.
Does anyone know what's going on there, or another way to get in touch with them? I just want my tires
