When She's (or He's) Naked

Just wondering, what you do when she or he is naked, and by she or he, I mean your bike :love2:

If you have ever taken off the plastics, how often do you do it on your street bike assuming you don't go off road with it, do you just clean them, do you inspect for leaks and other things as you can't see or get in with the fairings on, tighten bolts especially on some v-twins?

LOL, just this weekend, the only plastic thing left on my bike was the front fender. Since I just got the bike (well, a month ago), I wanted to make sure that everything was in good shape, change some things (i.e. the air filter, etc.), tighten nuts and bolts. So the bike was fully naked with no plastics, no lights. Actually looked really cool.

Did you paint that frame yourself? That looks sweet!

Some Bandits come with full fairings but my touring version came with hard Givi bags and lower fairings. I've taken the lowers off for the summer because I like the look better. I really don't notice the difference in protection from the elements so I think they'll stay off.

Is C-Note going streetfighter? I like the streetbike streetfighter look.

I need a winter project... This might be it. And as far as the "V" goes. Honda's engineer humor at it's best!
