freedom and the feeling of accelerating from 0-60 in less than 3 sec!

For me it's exploring. There's something about driving down the road on the bike that's just so much better then in a cage. But I will still try to hit all the twisties on the way to and from theses roads.

Twisties.

There's just something about properly navigating a corner that really does it for me.

There's something in the inherent danger of motorcycling that is strangely appealing. Must be a personality/evolutionary defect.

Not to go off topic, but reading this I always thought the opposite. Check my signature.

Back to topic, track rules, but exploring was always nice.

It is all simply therapeutic. Any bike, any place & any time. Dirt, track, road race course or street. Just not in big cities like Toronto....
I just wanna ride!

i like getting out in the countryside. the fresh air. getting away from all the crazy sportsbike riders that think
its cool to slide sideways in traffic ;)

all of the senses. When I ride I see, smell and feel. And I have no problems, no cell phone. I just focus on riding and get away from it all!

Riding a bike takes so much more concentration than driving a car. When I'm on my bike, I can't think of anything else other than the road, my bike, what I'm going to do next.

Escapism +1000 I'm not thinking of ANYTHING else when I'm on the bike, and that's awesome.

It's so much fun. Someone mentioned it's therapy.... so true.

Not crashing.

Twisties, long distance exploring would be the top 2 from your list....but there's so much more. Like when you are in a groove and you and the bike are moving smoothly along the road flowing with the wind.....swing left and right with the turns. Oops...'kay, that's twisties.....

I recently broke up with a girlfriend of four years. The morning after the break-up, I got on the bike. I had to.

It took a few minutes to get out of the city traffic. But as soon as I hit the open road and went over 60 km/h, and felt the acceleration in my back and the wind rushing around me, all was right with the world. I rode for a solid 8 or so hours that day, to Algonquin and back. $40 for 8 hours of therapy is a hell of a bargain.

^^^i hope the break up didn't have anything to do with your screen name, not everyone is into DP, j/k sorry to hear

Posing. \Dollar for dollar its were its at. You dont waste money on fuel or tires and theres no potential for injury or death. $1.50 for a coffee and im entertained all day, possibly pick up a few hunnies too. Plus you dont get all those nasty bugs all over your bike and helmet
