What was your first Mod (If you can remember that far back!)

Im still waiting for my tank pad and there arent any sliders released for my 500 d@mn it.

Smaller (14T) sprocket for my CBR125. Possibly the best mod for that bike considering you're never going to make it powerful.

Ohlins damper, fender eliminator, akrapovic exhaust, power commander 3, all on the same day if they count as 1 mod. If not, your pick as to mod #1 ;-)

Givi flyscreen for a GS500. Racetech springs would have been first but they took forever to ship.

Bought a $20 watch at WalMart. Bike didn't have a clock so I wrapped the Velcro wrist band around the triple.
Somebody ripped it off while it was parked.

Probably sending you a message. Real bikers don't care what time it is.

DIY Fender eliminator and Plasti-Dip underside of the windscreen on my Ninja 250. FE will be the first thing done on the ZX6R too when I get it in about 10 days :)

Mine was way back in 1989 gutted the airbox on my 88 rz, sorry to hear your RZ was a POS mine got me 72,xxxkm and still runs ...still sitting in my shed will restore one day!

Seca2 voltage regulator installed on my Rz350. The original burned out and the Seca2 one was a drop in, but with fins for cooling. What a pos my Rz was, but it taught me so much I still do most of my basic maintenance myself (fluids, brakes, suspension, etc).

The one thing it completely soured me on is carbs. I swore I will never buy a bike that came with float bowls ever again. That and kick starters.

I wouldn't call it a mod as my bike is still stock, but I wired for a GPS. On a 696, it is not as easy as it sounds.

Tidy Tail always the first mod.

back in 91....on my 89 CBR 600. Replaced headlight bulb with a brighter one, and installed a Kerker White tip at the same time.
2.5 pound muffler looked awesome, but was too loud. I liked it back then cuz I was 17, but I couldn't bear it nowadays.
