Went out for a relaxing ride throughout Halton Hills for a few hours on a Holiday monday.

Its so relaxing just to casually ride around and check out the scenery, I dont know about you sportbikers out there, with the full face helmets, But whats better than the wind in your face, the smells of peoples BBQ's or from a Bonfire thats burning away, the trees, even the farmers fresh manure that's been put out.
Hearing the sweet sound of a V-Twin roaring away through some a decent set of Pipes, reverberating off the rocks and trees on the escarpment roads, can it really get much better than that ?


Then you see the dumb *** Mother ****ers riding these same roads dressed like Lance armstrong 3-4 abreast.
I wish there was a law that would allow me to drive past and smash them with a right hook in the back of the head, or club them with a lead pipe or a chain These morons should not be allowed to ride like that on the roads.they ride in groups, taking up the entire lane, at the worst possible spots.... Like on the crest of a hill ??

and most of them also run red lights and stop signs.. they are easily the most dangerous thing on the road. The police should get out there, and start ticketing the **** out of these retards

Are you talking about bicyclists? If so, I don't see what the big deal is, passing them is easy enough to do on a motorcycle... I drive a DZ truck at work and they can be a real pain in the *** to pass on rural roads sometimes. But yes, I have to agree, a lot of them are not particularly courteous to motorists and won't hesitate to bark at you like Nazi's.

His point is that they take up an entire lane, which I am pretty sure they are not allowed to do.
 
Wow. So much anger! So you hate crotch rocket riders. You hate bicyclers. I think you forgot to express your hate for scooters and e-bikes!

Maybe you didnt understand what i wrote ? I dont know if spoertbikers can experience all those senses with a full face helmet.

Actually they aren't allowed to ride like that. Just another one of those laws that's never properly enforced.
 
Bicyclists riding in large groups on 2-lane highways have been killed by car drivers not expecting them. You'd think they'd have a better sense of self-preservation.

All you have to do is watch a few in the downtown core. If you're old enough, it will remind you of the old Wonderful World of Disney show on lemmings.

Yes they can, and guess what, cruiser guys who are not doing the wild hog thing also use full face helmets. ;-)
 
I don't know about the rest of you but we had Elmer in school and he said bicycles were to travel with traffic in single file and people were to walk opposing traffic single file ...... I'm learning to put up with them, begrudgingly but trying...... You think it's just the road try navigating oakville creek when the paddle crowd is active same idea just a little less friction to react quickly

I experience the same sensations, but fortunately don't experience the bugs splattering on my visor on my face.

Also there's an English douchenozzle that rides a Recumbent Bicycle that makes Youtube videos...can't remember his channel right now. He's linked with Premises187 a lot. His videos make me rage

Took the GF on a ride through Ottawa on Saturday. Up past Dow's Lake on the Queen Elizabeth pkwy, continued right through downtown up sussex dr past all the things in the parliament hill area, then followed along the river quite a ways. Turned around and came back the other way. Was nice just to be out for a cruise, nice weather and good scenery.

It was the Tulip festival so there were tourists everywhere, made it sort of interesting.

Took the bike down for fireworks Sunday night. Best decision ever. Parking was easy to find (showed up 10 mins before start time) and we only had to walk 100m to get a good view point. When it was over, we just got on the bike and snaked through all the cars stopped due to the crowd and confusion. Probably got back to her place before most people had made it to their cars!
